Regular depression is a darkness. But depression related to GABA is inhibition.
And mania? It's LACK of inhibition. Inhibitions make us human. They keep us from saying retarded things, doing foolish things.
Here is bipolar explained:
Depression: Inhibited. Your body keeps you from doing everything, slowing down your mind.
Mania: Uninhibited: Your body allows you do anything that pops into your head, and your mind speeds.
Mixed is in the middle. Not a good middle though, more of a...well, think of a faucet filled with air bubbles. The GABA comes in spurts, so I get inhibited then I'm free, it's just...bah.
That is the simplest I can get to describe bipolar. I have cyclothymia though, which means I don't reach the extreme lack of inhibition that bipolar manics do (where they even hallucinate and do crazy shit), and I don't go into a hole of black like their depression.
I hope my dad doesn't mind my using his mouse for a bit. Mine bit the dust. I have tolerated it for the longest time and its right-click glitches, where it will click multiple times. But now it simply won't plug in. It's dead, it's kicked the bucket.
Now the question is, cord or none. Cord means no battery, but more cords. Cordless means battery and occasional spazz attack.
I...think I drooled on my face? *twitch*
Everlast~
...ha got the mouse to work...for the moment.
